Score another win for the good guys

Man it's just been a good couple of days for truth and justice. I'm sure many of you remember the incident in TX where a homeowner say his neighbor's house being broken into by some scum. This guy calls 911 and when the police were too slow getting there, decided to stop them himself.

Long story short, he ends up shooting and killing the two career criminals. All the predictable cries of outrage came from the anti-gun folks. Race-baiters came out and condemned him as well.

Well it looks like TX still has some regard for law and order.

Who wouldn't want to have this guy as their neighbor?

Your post about the dogs the other day was very timely:

I think it's odd that this story about two dogs getting killed (at the mayor's house?!) got about as much press coverage as the alleged cop-killer who was strangled to death by the guards while in isolated custody. Maybe people just really care about dogs.

Either that or they just don't care about cop-killers being strangled to death.

I personally care more about the dogs.

I WOULD say we need more like him, but with the way our judicial system works, he could have just as easily been convicted of murder and sent to prison for being the good guy. I'm really glad he was not indicted though. Score one for us.
