Read this guy (and my Tweets)

It's the coolest thing when I come across a blog that I like. Usually I will get a cup of coffee and try to read everything on it up to the last posting. That way I can be caught up. I started reading this new blog and am hooked. I really like this guy's style and I can relate to alot of what he says. The title "Pepper Spray Me" says it all. Go check it out. I just want to know how he got his site to look so freaking cool.

Also, I am trying out this whole Twitter thing. I created an account called JohnnyLawChron. If you are into that stuff, follow me and I will try to post some interesting updates. It may be a bit slow this week because I have some personal stuff going on but I will hit the ground running next week.

I just can't get in to the whole Twitter thing yet. Maybe someday. BTW, I'm following you there.

One Time has a damn fie blog...thanks for the link.

As to Twitter...!?!
I'll stick to emails and IMs.

I'm still figuring out the whole windows 98/2K/NT/XP/VISTA, Beta vs VHS VCR, digital TV, DVD vs Blue-ray, and cellphone/bluetooth/blackberry/G4 gig...LOL!

ONE thing at a time, puh-lease.

;)

Stay safe

I found "One Time" linked to another blog I read and he's an amazing writer.

He's got GREAT stuff and he's a nice guy.

Another you may be interested in (I didn't check your sidebar to see if he's there or not) is You Should Be Tazered.

I think you'd really like "Jump Out". Good stuff (and he's freaking funny).

Be safe, JL. :)

Looks like a lot of CSS - top image is a background image that's anchored to the top of the page in a CSS block, with the solid colors in a CSS block below that that's the size of the entire page (frames the rest of the content), etc. etc. It can be done pretty easily actually, the trick is just knowing how or having the right tools.

If you know anyone who has a Mac there's a program called CSSEdit that makes it really easy to see how page styling is put together. Free demo. Or you can get the Web Developer toolbar for Firefox and use that to take his page to pieces.

I like Twitter a lot. There are some great LE tweeters over there. I think it is a good place for those of us who don't have a ton of time to blog daily or spend a lot of time on forums answering messages. Like both of those kinds of communities, though, it is a great place to make friends and network -- despite the "short form." Good luck with it!

Thanks for the plug! You have a mighty fine site, too!

It's always nice to bump into other coppers on the WWW.
